Accessibility

Readiness information is exactly the kind of content that must work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification or reduced motion. This site aims for WCAG 2.2 AA as a minimum, with AAA contrast on body text. Last reviewed 26 August 2026.

What we've built in

  • Every page and tool, including the Readiness Score, is operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • The Score announces results to screen readers and needs no timer, drag or gesture.
  • Animations, including the homepage torch beam and the score dial, are disabled when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content; the layout has no horizontal scrolling on mobile.
  • Checklists have print styles designed to be legible in black and white.
  • No content flashes, autoplays or moves without your say-so.

Known limitations

The site is new and some pages are still being reviewed for accessibility alongside their editorial review. If something doesn't work with your setup, we want to know.
